Farmer’s MedShoppe: Why did you decide to work at Farmer’s MedShoppe?
Wendy Chambliss: My husband is a patient at FMS, and he spoke so highly of the care, staff and facility. I had to check it out for myself. It was love at first sight!
FMS: Describe your role.
Wendy: Day-to-day, my role changes. Some days, I’m a nurse. Other days, I’m a lab x-ray tech.
FMS: Why did you decide to get into medicine?
Wendy: I love caring for people. Healthcare is ever changing, and I learn something new on a daily basis.
FMS: How would you describe Family Nurse Practitioners Melissa Tolar and Suzanne Cox—whom you get to work with every day?
Wendy: Melissa and Suzanne are very compassionate. They both love to laugh and can make a long day quite enjoyable.
FMS: What’s it like working with Clayton Farmer?
Wendy: Working with Clayton Farmer is spiritually uplifting. I truly feel like part of the family.
FMS: What do you love about Foxworth and Marion County?
Wendy: I love country living, the people here and the strong community.
FMS: If you were a customer or patient, why would you go to Farmer’s MedShoppe?
Wendy: FMS has the best all around atmosphere. The staff here treats you like family. We provide many services such as x-ray, lab and pharmacy that many clinics cannot offer. We are a one-stop-shoppe!
